Day Wise Itinerary

Arrive at NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport. After reaching here, you will be greeted and welcomed with your guide or driver who will be your assistant till the next departure. From Pick-up point, we will head you towards Gangtok. It will take around 4-5hrs to reach Gangtok. After reaching there, get freshened up at your hotel and have some snacks. Later in the evening, take a stroll at MG Marg, and enjoy your evening to the fullest. Enjoy various types of food and cuisines available here. Don’t forget to try out momos here. Later, return to hotel and take dinner and go off to sleep.

After breakfast, start for a full day trip to – Tsomgo Lake - is located at an altitude of 12,310ft above sea level. The Lake is only 45 kms from Gangtok City. The Lake is almost 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 metres deep. The Lake is considered sacred by the local people. New Baba Harbajan Singh Mandir - believed to have wish-fulfilling powers. On Sundays a 'langar' is run at the temple which provides free meals to the visitors. Nathula Pass - was a major corridor of passage between India and Tibet before it was closed in 1962. Located around 56 kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 14450 ft, the road to Nathula, one of the highest motorable roads passes through the Tsomgo Lake. On a clear day you can even see the road winding down the Chumbi valley. NOTE: Nathula Pass visit will be on direct payment basis as because it depends on availability of permit from army and weather & road Condition. Overnight at Gangtok..

Today after breakfast proceed for an excursion trip to Namchi and Chardham and later on drive to pelling. Namchi: The mammoth statue of Guru Padmasambhava atop the Samdruptse hill claimed without dispute that the 135 feet statue of Guru Padmasambhava was constructed at the statue of Guru Padmasambhava at Samdruptse Hill, Namchi, Sikkim. Chardham: this unique Pilgrim Center has a main temple of 108 feet height on which is based the 87 feet high statue of Lord Shiva on the sitting posture at the Solophok Hill. Apart from Shiva statue, this Pilgrim Center also has replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to offer one platform for Shiva devotees. Solophok Chardham Lord Shiva incarnated as Kirateshwar in Indrakeel (Present Sikkim). Therefore, in this incarnation he is locally worshiped by the people of Sikkim as Lord Kirateshwar. A statue of 16 1/2 feet height of Lord Kirateshwar is also installed in the complex. In order to attain Moksha, the Hindu belief is to perform pilgrimage to all the existing four Dhams. Thereby, replicas of these four Dhams, namely Badrinath, Jaganath and Dwarka dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Rameshwar, dedicated to Lord Shiva are also constructed. Over night stay at Pelling.

Today proceed to Darjeeling (7,200 ft. / 4 hours), The Queen of Hill’s. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel. Evening free for a walk in the Mall, where you will get curio and handicraft shop Overnight halt at Darjeeling.
